I have struggled with weight issues for a most my life. It wasn’t until my last few years of high school and early college that I realized it starting to be a bigger issue. In my head I was always able to tell myself that I was fine and that I didn’t need to do anything about it. Then I was told I had high blood pressure, again I wasn’t as nervous because it runs in my family, so I told myself it wasn’t due to being overweight, it’s in my genes. But it wasn’t until I started hearing that if I continued down this destructive path I would end up with a lot more problems and could potentially not live as long as my friends. I woke up and realized that I’m 22 years old and I need a change, I didn’t want to live this life any longer. I was afraid to have pictures taken of me because I never liked the way they looked. I was always shy in social situations because I didn’t feel confident in how I looked.
So I decided it was time for a change. I was told about medical weight loss by my father. He had a client who had done the program and said it was well done and produced results. So I decided to give it a try. I started in early July and told myself I would give it my all until I got back to college. By the time late August rolled around I had lost about 45 to 50 pounds and I was amazed. All my health issues were gone; I was in normal health and never felt better. I started working out and was able to run for miles without feeling like I was going to die. I felt confident and it showed in social situations and it most definitely made my last semester at college significantly better. I have currently lost somewhere in the ball park of 75 pounds and only have about 25 more to go until I’m done. I couldn’t be any happier. I went from a size 3x at my biggest to XL and in some cases Large. In pants I went down almost 4 sizes and am now wearing clothes I had only dreamed about being able to wear one day. The best part is in some cases they’re too big and I need to buy them smaller.
Finally I would say that if you have any thought on losing weight, try this program out. These people know what they are doing and it works. Believe me I was skeptical at first but I gave it a shot and put in the work and it more than paid off. When I look back at it now, losing 75 pounds initially seemed like climbing Mount Everest, now it seems like it was only a bunny hill.
Thanks again for helping me get my life back on track!
